The
Jaipur Observatory was initially established in the
year 1975 under the Geomagnetic Meridian Project in
collaboration with IZMIRAN, in the Malvia Regional
Engineering College Campus. Due to the expansion activities
of the Engineering College, the observatory operations
were discontinued from the year 1988. This observatory
is restarted in September 2002 on the nearby land
